Looks interesting, thinking of purchasing this -3 questions if i may...
1- how clean is the geometry - I'm using a low-powered 3D engine (easy FSP editor), can I export a very basic terrain that's very low-poly? or will it be quite a few polygons for a simple terrain? 2- the buildings (placeholders) I assume it extrudes the height - so the textures for the sides of the building will just be the same as the roof? 3-does it export a single texture or does it split the texture into chunks? My editor will only allow 1 texture per model (ie: can;t have multiple textures per face).
Hey, sorry for late response, busy with life... Anyway :] 1. Yes, you can get a low poly, very basic terrain. Or if you want you can adjust the details and get a very detailed geometry.
2. Yes, those are just extruded things. On the sides currently there are no textures. I'm using this tool in my own project and my top down camera is quite far away from the ground. So for me, for now this was enough to create this illusion of actual buildings.
3. Single texture. It will reuse your map image you use with the software to create the terrain.
And thank you for being interested in this little project of mine!
